You would like to increase the operational safety of your non-stop winder and the safety of your operators? This exactly is the aim of the turret disk locking system upgrade: the toggle lever system with double-sided locking effectively prevents the turning-disks from twisting and jamming.
At the same time, the new component increases the reproducibility and therefore the quality of winding, as the turning-disks reliably lock in an identical position.
The retrofit: Experience makes perfect
Kampf has a high level of expertise in retrofitting the locking mechanism of the turning-disks, as this is a popular upgrade throughout the industry. It is often additionally combined with the installation of a new cross-cutting unit.
We use a specially developed system here that can be integrated into existing systems with low effort, especially those systems that are getting a little old now.
The assembly that is delivered pre-mounted consists of:
- One modern locking unit each for the right and left turning-disk and
- One toggle lever system, which is locked by pneumatic cylinders.
With the help of the prepared components, the time required for the conversion – and therefore the downtime of the system – can drastically be reduced by our experienced service staff.
This way the retrofit ensures optimum process stability and thus a high winding quality!
